AI Cameras That Monitor Your Production Line in Real Time

Roboflow AI1 is a camera with an NVIDIA Jetson inside that counts output, times each cycle, and spots jams and stoppages as they happen, then sends live line data to your PLC, MES, and dashboards.

Production Line Monitoring Cameras AI Vision Solution

Most lines already know their output at the end of a shift. A production line monitoring camera tells you what is happening right now: how many units passed, how long each cycle took, and whether a jam or pile-up is starting to build. That live view feeds OEE monitoring and lets supervisors fix a slowdown before it becomes lost output.

Roboflow AI1 (opens in a new tab) mounts over a conveyor or station and does that work on the camera: an 8 MP sensor (3840 x 2160 at 30 fps) with integrated lighting and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX in an IP54 housing. It detects and tracks each item, counts it as it crosses a line, measures the time between events, and flags when items stop moving. It also suits conveyor belt monitoring, and can check product quality from the same camera.

  • Featured: Roboflow AI1 (AI1-8MP-4MM): 8 MP sensor, 4 mm lens with electronic focus, NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8 GB, IP54 housing
  • Attributes: On-device counting and tracking, cycle timing, jam and stoppage alerts, a structured event for every item
  • Integration: Live counts and alerts to your PLC over OPC UA, MQTT, or Modbus TCP, and line data to Ignition, MES, Power BI, or Grafana

Train a model in Roboflow on your own products, then build a Workflow that counts, times, and alerts using tracking and line-counter steps, with no code required. Deploy it to every AI1 from Roboflow Deployment Manager. Each event is stored on the camera and synced to the cloud, so your team has a shift-by-shift history of every line.

Already have cameras over the line? Roboflow Inference also runs line monitoring on GigE Vision and RTSP streams from the cameras you already have, so you can start monitoring today and add AI1 where you need a new view.

How to Setup Production Line Monitoring Cameras with AI

AI1 mounts over a conveyor or station and connects over Gigabit Ethernet. Deploy a counting and timing Workflow from Roboflow Deployment Manager, and AI1 tracks every item on-device, sending live counts and alerts to your PLC, MES, or dashboards.
