Verkada made enterprise security cameras simple: plug in a PoE camera, and it shows up in the Command cloud platform with 30 to 365 days of onboard storage, no NVR required. The built-in analytics cover people and vehicle detection well. When you need to detect something specific to your operation, Roboflow lets you train a model on your own footage and run it against the streams your Verkada cameras already produce, without the video leaving your network.
Verkada's lineup includes Dome, Mini, Bullet, Fisheye, Multisensor, and PTZ cameras, plus a battery and LTE powered Remote camera for sites without wired infrastructure. Nearly every series supports low-latency RTSP streaming, which you enable per camera in Command with a dedicated username and password.
• Featured: Dome, Bullet, Fisheye, Multisensor, and PTZ series
• Attributes: Hybrid cloud, guaranteed onboard storage, PoE, no NVR
• Integration: Local RTSP streams (up to two per camera) into Roboflow Inference on a server or edge device on the same network
PPE compliance on your loading dock, forklift proximity in your warehouse, spill or blocked-exit detection on your floor: whatever your Verkada cameras watch, a model trained on your own scenes will outperform generic analytics on it. Roboflow runs those models on-premises on an NVIDIA Jetson or industrial PC and routes results to the PLC, MES, or alerting tools your team already uses.
Want AI without the integration work? Roboflow’s AI1 deployment device packages onboard AI compute, integrated lighting, and an industrial camera into a plug-and-play system for real-time computer vision - no separate camera, lighting, or edge computer to spec.
