Over 250,000 developers build with Roboflow’s tools, but that’s a small fraction of how many will need to. Every existing industry—and many new ones—will use computer vision. From diagnosing cancer more accurately to identifying new galaxies to building electric vehicles, engineers are building the future we want to live in with CV.
You can work from anywhere in the world, though you have the opportunity to co-locate with team members often through various onsites, lighthouses (sporadic coworking in cities of your choosing ), work from our Hubs in NY and SF, or other team members in your area. We call it remote, not distant.
We hire “full stack people.” You own an outcome and possess (or eagerly learn) the skills to deliver it. As an engineer, that may mean understanding a feature, writing it, and documenting it for users. In growth, that could include building example projects, sharing them, and driving their adoption.
We offer industry leading benefits, so you can focus on doing your best work (including 401k, covering up to 100% of your healthcare premium, and a productivity stipend to cover the tools you need to do your best work, like your home internet bill or co-working pass).
Computer vision is something that is transforming every industry, not so dissimilar to the mobile phone or the internet itself. So, when we say that we think big, we really mean it. And we challenge each other to think bigger, act bigger, and solve bigger. (Plus, visionaries at a computer vision company — too easy?)
Perhaps we got a little carried away with the unofficial mascot idea, but raccoons really do demonstrate some admirable qualities: curious (we’re always wanting to learn new things), willing to get hands dirty (we’re unafraid of hard work), dislike cages (independence and autonomy are important here), crafty (we’re ingenious problem solvers), and often run in groups (we’re a united team). We were also probably cute as babies... but that’s less important.
No matter what your role is at Roboflow, everyone has the ability to make a meaningful impact. We encourage our employees to have strong diverse opinions and advocate for them because we all care deeply about the problems we’re solving. We’re a team that thinks, “How can I improve this?” instead of assuming it is up to someone else. Leaders are owners.
