Roboflow Joins the NVIDIA Cosmos Coalition to Advance Frontier Research and Physical AI

Roboflow Labs brings our research and real-world experience to the next wave of AI.
Roboflow is joining the NVIDIA Cosmos (opens in a new tab) Coalition, expanding our collaboration with NVIDIA and the work of Roboflow Labs to advance the frontier of real world capabilities.
NVIDIA introduced the Cosmos Coalition (opens in a new tab) in May 2026 to bring model builders, developers, and organizations building physical AI together around open world models. The coalition supports collaboration on models, research, and evaluation methods to advance systems that can understand and simulate the physical world.
We believe the next wave of the AI boom will be defined by what intelligence can do in the physical economy, and that vision is the bottleneck to unblock. The opportunity reaches into the factories that make our products, the infrastructure that connects our cities, and the machines people work alongside every day. Bringing AI into those environments could change how entire industries operate, making capabilities that once required custom engineering accessible to many more teams.
Joining the coalition places Roboflow Labs’ (opens in a new tab) work within a shared effort to advance those capabilities. We see an opportunity to connect progress in frontier models with the breadth of tasks developers face outside the lab, and to help turn that progress into tools people can build with. Roboflow Labs draws on what the 2M+ developers and Fortune 500 enterprises building on Roboflow are actually trying to solve. That real-world task distribution shapes the research, benchmarks like RF100-VL (opens in a new tab), and data we bring to model builders.
As another step in this collaboration, NVIDIA Cosmos 3 (opens in a new tab) post-training is now available on Roboflow, starting with video reasoning. Post-training lets developers adapt a pretrained model to a specific task or environment, such as interpreting how work progresses through an assembly process. It is one practical expression of the broader Labs mission: helping advanced models become more capable in the settings where people need them.
Our ambition is for visual intelligence to become foundational infrastructure for the physical economy. Through Roboflow Labs and our work with NVIDIA, we’re pursuing a future in which developers can bring intelligence to the world around them as readily as they build software today.
