Add a real-time inspection layer to every asset with vision AI for corrosion detection. Whether you're maintaining pipelines and tank farms, offshore platforms and refineries, bridges and steel structures, ships and ports, or power plants and substations, Roboflow reads drone, crawler, ROV, fixed-camera, and phone imagery, finds and grades every patch of rust, pitting, coating failure, and corrosion under insulation indicator, and turns the findings into a per-asset record with severity and location, so inspection dollars go where the corrosion is.

What is corrosion detection with Vision AI?
Corrosion detection with vision AI uses computer vision models on imagery from drones, crawlers, ROVs, fixed cameras, and phones to detect, classify, grade, and locate corrosion on industrial and infrastructure assets: surface rust, scale, pitting, crevice and galvanic corrosion, coating blistering and delamination, and the visual indicators of corrosion under insulation. Each finding is graded for severity, measured for affected area, tied to a location on the asset, and compared with previous inspections, so integrity and maintenance teams get a ranked, image-backed record instead of a notebook of observations. Roboflow supplies the detection and the record; your integrity engineers own the acceptance criteria, the inspection intervals, and the repair decisions.
Does it work on drone and crawler imagery, and at what resolution?
Yes. Drone flights over pipelines, tank shells, flare stacks, and bridges, crawler and ROV footage inside tanks and on hulls, fixed cameras at splash zones, and phone photos from a walkdown are all inputs, and models are trained on the imagery your program actually produces, at the standoff distances and resolutions your platforms fly.
Can it integrate with our asset integrity, EAM, and GIS systems?
Yes. Roboflow Inference exposes a standard API and webhooks, so corrosion findings flow into your existing systems: asset integrity and risk-based inspection platforms, EAM and CMMS systems like IBM Maximo and SAP PM for work orders, GIS platforms like Esri ArcGIS for pipeline and structure mapping, drone data platforms and inspection management tools, and alerting into Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email, through REST, webhooks, and direct database writes.
