What is manifest verification with Vision AI?
Manifest verification with Vision AI uses computer vision models and cameras at the dock door, over the sortation belt, on forklifts, and in the yard to check that what actually shows up matches what the paperwork says. The software verifies inbound receipts against the BOL and ASN, verifies outbound picks against the pick list and load tender, reconciles cross-dock content, checks case-per-pallet math against each retailer's standard, and reconciles cycle counts and yard inventory against the WMS and YMS. It reads LPN and SSCC-18 pallet labels even when they're wrinkled, wet, or damaged, and connects to your WMS, ERP, TMS, YMS, and EDI systems. Shippers use it to prevent Walmart OTIF chargebacks (3% of invoice per infraction), avoid Amazon Vendor Central chargebacks, close SOX inventory-accuracy gaps, and prevent DSCSA drug pedigree mismatches.
Can Vision AI verify manifests, read damaged labels, and reconcile ASNs at DC-scale throughput?
Yes. Roboflow reads LPN and SSCC-18 labels with deep-learning OCR trained on your actual dock imagery, reconciles the reads against the ASN and BOL in the same inference call, computes case-per-pallet math against the retailer's standard, and shows the pass/fail decision to the receiving supervisor before the receipt closes. For damaged labels, it uses the pallet's loading context (orientation, adjacent labels) to disambiguate the read.
Does manifest verification support SOX, DSCSA, CTPAT, 49 CFR hazmat, and Walmart OTIF?
Yes. Roboflow supports DC, cross-dock, and yard operations under SOX inventory-accuracy internal controls, IFRS and US GAAP inventory-valuation reporting, CTPAT 7-point trailer verification, DSCSA drug pedigree, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and Part 11, 49 CFR hazmat shipping papers, IATA DGR, IMDG, ITAR and EAR, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC/BRCGS, SQF, IATF 16949 and PPAP, AS9100 and AS9102, and retail OTIF scorecards at Walmart, Amazon Vendor Central, Target, Home Depot, Costco, and Kroger. Every event is logged with the OCR read, matched-or-mismatched SKU, actual vs. expected count, timestamp, dock, trailer, driver, and ASN version, ready for SOX audits, DSCSA records, OTIF scorecard defense, CTPAT compliance, and freight-billing reconciliation.
Can it integrate with our WMS, ERP, TMS, YMS, and EDI?
Yes. Roboflow Inference exposes a standard API that connects to WMS (Manhattan Active WM, Blue Yonder, Softeon, SAP EWM, Körber, Oracle), ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), TMS (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Descartes, project44, Oracle OTM), YMS (Blue Yonder, C3 Solutions, Descartes), mobile terminals (Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic), AMR fleets (Locus, Fetch, 6 River Systems, GreyOrange, Symbotic), and RFID/RTLS (Zebra, Impinj) through OPC UA, MQTT, REST, EDI (856, 940, 945, 947, 852, 210, 214, 990, 204), EPCIS 2.0 for DSCSA, and direct database writes. Deployments run on-prem, on the edge next to the receiving door, in a VPC, or air-gapped, with real-time ASN drift alerts to receiving supervisors, wrong-SKU alerts to forklift operators, cross-dock lane-mismatch alerts, cycle-count write-backs to the WMS, and drone-based yard reconciliation with the YMS.
